A Great String skipping Lesson for the guitarists! (Courtesy: Rock Discipline)

This particular lesson has helped me a lot! This exercise helps you to build right hand technique. It basically helps you to get rid of the string skipping problem that many guitarists face.

The scale used in this exercise is the Major scale with added 3rd note. Download the PDF file for the exercise directly from here.

Things to remember :
* Use a metronome for playing this exercise (in fact, use a metronome for playing any piece) and please be slow at the beginning. That will make your timing more accurate.
* Strictly use alternate picking ( down up down up picking) to get the best result.
* First start the lesson with an upstroke and then with a down stroke. That greatly enhances you picking technique.
* Try to make sure that every note sounds clear and no buzzing sound is heard. Bad habits are very hard to    get rid off. So, do it right from the beginning!

If you need further help on this, you can contact me through any of the contact options available in the blog. Best of luck!
